If you are a hardcore Marine you can click on the links described below and walk through some of the events that helped create our Marine Corps legacy. Additional web links are located in the sidebar of each page.
MARINE CORPS MUSEUM
Visit the National Museum of the Marine Corps and see the exibits through a 360 degree virtual tour. Experience the assault on Iwo Jima beaches, a frozen outpost in Korea and be transported to Hill 881S in Vietnam as a replacement, as you see and hear the sounds of battle in special immersion displays.
Marine for Life Network
The League works very closely with the Marine Corps’ M-4-L program, providing mentors nationwide. In areas of the country where there is no Marine Corps “point of contact”, the League works directly with M-4-L Headquarters to provide services to transitioning Marines.
WARRIORS OF HILL 881S
This connection will take you to the Seige of Khe Sanh and the Hill 881S outpost held by a company of Marines and surrounded by two heavily reinforced North Vietnamese Regular Divisions. You will read compelling personal narratives written by the Marines who served there, and will live the experience through the awesome photos of the Dave Powell collection.
