Marines!
It’s that time of year again! Let’s celebrate together at the MCL 752 Family Picnic! At this picnic we will be hosting the Dothan area Marine Corps Recruiters and their pooles (high school age kids who are planning on joining the Marine Corps and slated to attend Marine Corps Boot Camp). These young men and women who have decided to join the Marine Corps in the past have appreciated our detachment showing them support and encouragement as they start their journey to becoming Marines! There will be food, swimming and lots of stories to be shared…..again! Don’t miss out on the fun starting at 1100 Saturday, July 17th aboard Fort Rucker at the beautiful Lake Tholocco swimming area.
We will try to be respectful with social distance and can feel free to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable. There is an inside eating/seating area that is air conditioned and we will have fans also.
We ask that you bring your favorite side dish or dessert and the MCL will provide the main course with Bill’s famous chili dogs!
We would like to have a rough count of people who plan to attend and what you will be bringing so that we can be sure to have a variety of choices. You can email back with a head count for you and your family and include your side dish or dessert. Be sure to wear/bring your bathing suit to join in the fun! Lifeguard on duty at 1100. We hope to see everyone this year!
